About this Role
Administrative & HR Assistant (Maternity Cover)
Location: Hybrid remote/ Head Office
Responsible to: The post holder will be responsible to the HR Lead and Directors.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Admin:
● Use a range of software, including the G Suite and internal databases to ensure the
efficient running of the business
● Answering the phones and communicating messages including managing the info
mailbox
● Supporting with any event planning
● Assisting with any general tech support for associates including liaising with tech
providers
● Updating and formatting company documents including handbooks
● Place stationery orders for the office and ensure all equipment in the office is
maintained
● Place Ocado grocery orders for the office and put all shopping away
● Liaise with the landlord for any office maintenance issues
● Sort all incoming and outgoing post, arrange couriers as and when required, taking
post to the post office.
● Be the first point of contact for associate equipment enquiries
● Ensure the general upkeep and tidiness of the office i.e. watering the plants, sorting
cupboards etc
HR:
● Ordering and posting resources (first aid kits, ID badges, phones and other tech
equipment) to associates, including starters. Manage leaver equipment and
reallocation of equipment
● Assist HR coordinator with onboarding checks (DBS, referencing, ID Documents &
car documents), chasing associates for documentation required
● Assist with DBS update checks, yearly
● Manage all mandatory induction training (CPI & First Aid), including INSET
● Assist with any HR projects as necessary
The duties and responsibilities are difficult to define in detail and may vary from time to time

post-holder is therefore expected to undertake such other duties as may be requested
provided the general character of the duties or level of responsibility does not change. Such
variations cannot in themselves justify a reconsideration of the grading of the post.
