We're looking for driven, dedicated, and confident individuals to take on the role of a self employed Education Mentor in our dynamic, rewarding environment. We want someone with experience in PDA, EBSA and loves computing! So if you have secondary experience, know a thing or two about coding and love to play computer games, have I got a role for you.
The Role:
As an Education Mentor, you will be at the forefront of supporting young people with complex additional needs. You’ll be delivering engaging learning sessions, guiding them through vocational awards, and equipping them with vital life skills that will shape their future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead educational sessions that combine practical learning, vocational training, and essential life skills.
- Work with young people, building trust and helping them unlock their full potential.
- Tailor your approach to meet the unique needs of each student, encouraging their growth and self-confidence.
- Monitor progress, set goals, and provide consistent feedback to help students stay on track.
What We’re Looking For:
- A confident, results-driven individual with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Someone with a strong commitment to safeguarding.
- An understanding of complex additional needs such as PDA, Trauma and EBSA as well as a trauma informed approach.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership and lead with purpose.
- Strong communication skills – you’ll need to connect with students, families, and other professionals effectively.
