SENse Learning – An Alternative Provision
We are on a mission to ensure that no child is left behind. We are currently looking for a dynamic, methodical and thorough Admin Support Assistant to help guide the seemingly unending growth of our alternative provision.
This role is a hybrid remote with 1 day a week in our office in Staplefield.

What the role looks like?
- Use a range of software, including email, spreadsheet and databases to ensure the efficient running of the business
- Answering the phones and communicating messages
- Occasional supporting with any event planning
- Updating and formatting company documents including handbooks
- Place stationery orders for the office and ensure all equipment in the office is maintained
- Liaise with the landlord for any office maintenance issues
- Sort all incoming and outgoing post, arrange couriers as and when required
- Be the first point of contact for enquiries
- Ensure the general upkeep and tidiness of the office
- Supporting with the referrals function of SENse Learning – booking home visits, completing referrals forms and various other tasks
- Be flexible in admin tasks across the company
Your experience
- Share our commitment to the protection, safeguarding and wellbeing of children and young people
- Have excellent ICT skills including knowledge of programmes such as GSuite and Microsoft Office
- Be confident in learning new electronic systems specific to the company and provide support to Associates where needed
- Previous experience of reception/office admin
- First class written and verbal communication skills
- Have excellent organisational skills, able to manage your time and job list efficiently, using a priority-based approach
- Confidence with Excel/G-sheets
- Is confident with data inputting of numbers
