Role Overview:
The focus of this role is to lead the recruitment function for SENse Learning, ensuring the provision of high-quality Associates to support students with additional needs. The Recruitment Lead drives strategic initiatives, optimises systems, and manages the candidate pipeline to ensure no child is left behind. This role balances strategic oversight – such as demand mapping and employer branding – with the rigorous safeguarding standards essential to our provision.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Core Recruitment Operations
- Advert Management: Create and post engaging Associate recruitment adverts across multiple platforms.
- Application Review: Manage the timely screening and shortlisting of all Associate applications.
- Candidate Engagement: Conduct initial conversations to promote SENse Learning and act as the primary point of contact for all recruitment queries.
- Interview Coordination: Invite candidates to interview, manage scheduling logistics, and play an integral role in the interview process.
- Budgetary Management: Place and manage adverts in line with a pre-agreed strategy, with discretion to boost budgets within pre-agreed limits.
Strategic Oversight & Strategy
- Demand Mapping: Contribute to long-term demand mapping and supply generation strategies to ensure a consistent pipeline of qualified Associates.
- Candidate Prioritisation: Design and oversee a strategy to ensure urgent educational needs are met promptly with the most suitable candidates.
- Employer Branding: Take ownership of the SENse Learning branding on external channels.
- Marketing & SEO: Support on advert copywriting and SEO optimisation to increase the visibility and engagement of recruitment posts.
- Data Reporting: Support ongoing reporting for the Recruitment Manager on key metrics, including cost-per-hire and source effectiveness.
Operational Excellence & Admin
- System Optimisation: Take full responsibility for the oversight and optimisation of recruitment systems and CRM databases.
- Project Management: Lead specific recruitment projects, such as geographical expansion and new process implementation.
- Safeguarding & Onboarding: Support the onboarding process ensuring strict adherence to safeguarding policies.
- Professionalism: Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and ethics in all internal and external interactions.
- General Support: Provide ad-hoc support to emergent Recruitment needs, in coordination with the Recruitment Manager.
